beaches of Gillies Bay and looks accross Georgia Strait to the snow capped mountains of

Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

Eat all your meals out doors while enjoying the sounds of the sea and

breathtaking views from the large front deck equipped with a BBQ,

patio table, chairs and umbrella.  Watch the moon come up while

soaking in the Hot Tub/Spa, after a day of beach combing,

swimming, or hiking.  Relax in the shade of a peaceful grape arbour

garden, while reading your favorite book and still enjoy the fabulous

view.

This cabin is meant to provide comfort and beauty in any season for

every guest. There is a queen bedroom as well as a twin bedroom/

den on the main floor and in the loft bedroom a double and a twin.  This spot

offers the perfect romantic getaway, family vacation or small group retreat. 

   The beach is famous for the summer sandcastle

   competition.  At high tide walk  the driftwood beach 

   and at low tide walk out on miles of sand.  Marine and 

   bird life abound year round.  Blue Herons frequent

   the rocks, Bald Eagles nest nearby, and Sand Dollars

   lie everywhere in the white sand.

   Texada is the largest of the Gulf Islands of British

   Columbia, but relatively undiscovered, we believe

   it is the jewell of Georgia Strait.
